TenarisUniversity was founded in 2005 with the mission of “Building and sustaining Tenaris competitive advantage by capturing, organizing, enriching and transferring knowledge assets”. The establishment of a Corporate University formed a key element in Tenaris’ strategy for creating a global organization built on shared values and objectives and linked by common practices and processes.

During the first 8 years, efforts have been focused on: define mission and vision; definition of White Collars (salaried) and Blue Collars (hourly) employees learning models; Corporate University structure design; introduction of global programs like the TUIC (Tenaris University Induction Camp for new hired graduates all over the world), MDP (Managers Development Program for Middle Managers) and AMP (Advanced Management Program); implementation of a backbone Learning Management System (LMS); development of curricula and development plans; design and roll out of more than 1,600 proprietary courses, introduction of Level 1 and 2 and some pilots for level 3 and 4 training evaluation tools; provide infrastructure and Academic Buildings in all the Tenaris premises.

Nowadays, TenarisUniversity is facing a new challenge: support Tenaris in the new business environment and to maintain its leadership role in the market on the long-term.

Tenaris University has to become the Strategic Change Agent by facilitating and enabling innovation, diversities integration and knowledge sharing to support Tenaris business and growth.

Introduction of the most innovative learning technologies and methodologies will support the goals of the company, accelerating competence growth at any level in any place of the organization and achieving excellence in any process.

Passion and Professionalism of the TenarisUniversity team in the world will be the key drivers to achieve these goals.
